Miss Karen (Principal)
Miss Karen has over 30 years experience in the industry. She first established the school with just one class and since then she has built the school to where it is today. Karen has a love of dance and sport and teaches dance fitness. As well as being a fully qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer Karen danced herself as a young girl and has brought that passion into the school. She works extremely hard to maintain the high levels of teaching WYSPA has always prided itself on. Karen is seen as a second mum by many of the pupils and the school is often described as one big happy family.
Karen also started the casting agency where she is incredibly passionate and supportive, she has personally helped clients go on to have successful careers within the industry. Karen also is a registered chaperone so she is always going the extra mile to help children reach their goals.

Miss Romy, ISTD DDI, IDTA Associate, Professional Dance and Teachers of Dance Diploma, HE Cert Professional Dance Practice. BOKWA L2 Romy's passion for Peforming Arts and Dance started when she was just 2 years old when she started dance classes. Romy trained at WYSPA Dance Academy where she was head girl. At 18 she then went on to Preston College to persue her dream of becoming a professional dancer and teacher. Romy now teaches; Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Cheerleading, Freestyle, Pointe, Musical Theatre and Adult Fitness Classes. She is also one of WYSPAs main Solo & Duet choreographers who has won many awards at competitions and festivals.
More recently Miss Romy has completed her Acrobatic Arts Qualifications and she is now one of our acro teachers.

Miss Esther is our qualified gymnastic sports coach and Dance teacher who also teaches physical education in schools around Yorkshire. Esther also holds a dance diploma from London theatre school in commercial dance. Miss Esther teaches various classes including our competition class that has gone on to win numerous events and titles including regional champions and winners of the choreography award at a huge competition.

Miss Amy teaches our Ballet and Pointe Classes, she is a fully qualified teacher after training at Preston College.
Miss Amy is extremely passionate about all genres of dance but her true love is Ballet. She is also a qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher so is very versatile and able to also teach Acro.

Miss Hannah, Dance Teacher, BA hons Performing Arts, PGDIP in Acting, Level 1 Sherbourne developmental movment, Level 1 BADC cert Stage Combat. IDTA Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. Hannah is extremely passionate and has been teaching dance and performing arts since 2000. She is very experienced and teaches many of WYSPAs Pre-school classes. Her infectious personality and love of dance can be seen throughout all of her classes.

Miss Becca is our highly qualified singing teacher. She has trained since the age of 7 in musical theatre, pop and classical vocals, and has a true passion for working with people to find their voice and gain the confidence to perform freely.
Miss Becca tailors her approach to each individual, ensuring that a good technique and style is developed without forgetting the importance of fun!

Miss Frankie worked as a professional dancer for 6 years whilst living in London after completing a 2 year Commercial Training Course at The London Theatre School. Frankie has worked with some widely known choreographers and performed with the commercial dance company ‘TNG’ and all girl group ‘Sirens’ in many popular dance performances, both on stage and on screen shows. Frankie has also completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training course in Bali.
Miss Frankie teaches all our Showkids and Show Tots classes.
